Black Diamond BJJ Reno: Spring 2021 Updates

Black Diamond BJJ Reno: Spring 2021 Updates

Mark your calendars!

Black Diamond Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu will receive the pre-order rash guards and embroidered gis in approximately two weeks. All in-stock items and expected inventory are available for sale at our online store.

We will be closed on Saturday, June 5th, while our students compete at the Grappling Industries tournament here in Reno, Nevada. Instructors John Villarruel, Olin Coles, and Ryan Jennerjohn will all be in attendance, coaching our team to victory.

On the following Saturday, June 12th, we will reserve the morning for student promotions. All members, along with friends and family, are free to attend without cost or expense. There is no belt promotion fee or seminar costs at Black Diamond BJJ.

Next, our Black Diamond website now features a collection of instructional BJJ videos online just for our students. While these are not a substitute for drills and training, they can be very helpful for reviewing the details of a technique.

As a reminder, we ask that spectators and participants wear a mask while entering the business or relaxing inside – as it is required by the Governor’s mandate. If you should have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us! – Professor Olin Coles
